These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by Neighbors for Strong Communities. By opting in to receive text messages from Neighbors for Strong Communities, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.

SMS Program Description

Neighbors for Strong Communities may send recurring text messages to individuals who opt in. Messages may include advocacy updates, community issue alerts, public meeting and hearing notices, event reminders, petitions, surveys, opportunities to contact elected officials, regulators, agencies, or other decision-makers, and other civic engagement actions related to public decisions affecting local communities.

Opt-In

You may opt in to receive text messages by submitting a website form, checking an SMS consent box, signing up at an event, completing a campaign form, participating in an advocacy action, or otherwise providing clear consent to receive text messages from Neighbors for Strong Communities.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. During active campaigns, urgent public decisions, public meetings, hearings, or other time-sensitive advocacy moments, subscribers may receive multiple messages per week.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your mobile plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we may send a confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will no longer receive text messages from that program unless you opt in again.

Supported Carriers

Message delivery is subject to your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Neighbors for Strong Communities does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent information with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

Eligibility

You must be the account holder or have permission from the account holder for the mobile number you provide.

Neighbors for Strong Communities may update these SMS Terms & Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
